Prateek Shrivastava is a practicing Patent Attorney based in India, with a strong foundation in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a legal practice registered with the Bar Council of India. As an empaneled Patent Facilitator under the Government of India’s Start-up India Intellectual Property Protection (SIPP) Scheme, he brings a unique combination of technical insight and legal expertise to the forefront of India’s innovation landscape.
With extensive experience in advising clients across sectors such as Information Technology, Electronics, FMCG, and academia, including premier institutions like IITs and NITs, Prateek has earned a reputation for helping startups, researchers, and enterprises strategically protect and manage their IP assets.
He has actively contributed to the national innovation movement by signing multiple MoUs with institutions and incubation centers to foster a robust IP ecosystem. A respected voice in the community, Prateek is a regular speaker at leading forums such as CIPAM (Government of India), MPCST, and several state and national incubation platforms. He also serves as a mentor to several reputed universities and incubators across India.
He is an active member of esteemed IP professional bodies including the International Federation of Intellectual Property Attorneys (FICPI), International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI), and Society of Automotive Engineers India.
At PNA Intellectual Property & Technology Attorneys, Prateek leads the firm’s operations with a focus on integrating legal strategy, technical analysis, and business intelligence to drive innovation and compliance.
With Udyovidh Innovation & Incubation Centre, Prateek aims to extend his mission further: by nurturing startups, empowering innovators from Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, and creating a sustainable ecosystem for inclusive, IP-driven entrepreneurship in India.
